Pentland Primary School is a unique and diverse school based in South West Edinburgh, serving the areas of Oxgangs, Comiston, Camus, Winton and Dreghorn. Together as a school community of staff, learners, parents and partners, we work hard to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every learner can do their best.

We have recently renewed our school vision, values and aims as a school community. Parents, learners and staff have contributed to this process and together we have decided on what we find most important in the life and work of our school.

At Pentland Primary we aim to:
- Ensure our children are successful learners by providing a relevant, diverse, and exciting curriculum and learning opportunities
- Inspire our children to become responsible citizens by engaging with the world around them and being curious about other cultures
- Encourage our children to be confident individuals by being best version of themselves and helping others to do the same
- Equip our children to be effective contributors by developing skills for learning, life, and work.
