Digital Safety

Digital Safety is an essential part of our Empowered Learning strategy, which provides an iPad for each P6 and P7, and shared access to an iPad for children in P1-5.

We teach about the vital knowledge and skills around keeping yourself safe online.

Please find an informative page on the Parent Club website around online behaviour.

In addition, we expect each of our children to be aware of the Responsible Use Agreement. In some cases we will send this home to be viewed by parents and carers too. Please click below to view the City of Edinburgh Council Empowered Learning Responsible Use Agreement.

Emotional Development and Behaviour

Many parents and carers enquire with us for support with their child’s emotional regulation. We signpost parents towards the Zones of Regulation resource, which is useful to talk to young people about their emotions, and make them aware of strategies they can use to be regulated and calm.

Triple P is a course designed to support parents and carers to effectively manage their child’s behaviour. Please see the link below for more details.
